Breastfeeding is the most convenient method of travel and also the most beneficial because breast milk contains antibodies that help protect the baby against infections. Watch what you eat, especially in foreign countries, and remember to drink plenty of water in hot countries. Be vigilant about the water you drink. In case of doubt the only drink bottled water.

Be careful to follow the preparation instructions indicated on the box of milk: the scoops can match 20ml, 25ml, 30ml or 60ml depending on the country.

Baby has a diversified diet - Before 4 months, Baby is only a milk diet. Indeed, starting four months before the diversification has no benefit and may even have disadvantages. It will be tempting to feed directly from the jar. There is nothing wrong with that. However, do not keep leftovers for another meal with the spoon could introduce saliva in food and generate a proliferation of germs. Abroad, do not forget to sterilize bottles and be attentive to cleanliness when preparing food for your baby. All fruits and vegetables should be washed thoroughly with clean water (bottled or boiled) before peeling.

In Africa, wearing a newborn on her back is a technique of mothering full. This traditional method has many advantages.

Africa Porting

Since its birth, the baby African remains in permanent contact with his mother who carries on his back in a loincloth. The babywearing puts on an act, emotional role: as soon as the baby is crying her mother cradles, she is listening to his solicitations. On the other hand, the portage has a community function very important in African society: the baby is in contact with all family members and participates in various daily activities.

The babywearing up the baby in a perfect position: knees are up to the buttocks, the hips are open. Thus, the baby develops harmoniously and improved digestion: burping are facilitated, reflux and colic are reduced. Close to his mom, baby found reassuring the world that has been in utero movement, smell, respiration and heart rate reassure him of his mother. Porting reduces crying and fussing. It was also shown that this technique reduced the carrying congenital dislocation of the hip in newborns. In black Africa, this kind of dislocation is almost nonexistent.
